Commonwealth Schools Look for More Funding

GARDNER MA – March 5, 2026 – WGAW1340.com – The Massachusetts Teachers Association wants Bay State taxpayers to foot the bill for school districts that have lost enrollment from criminal undocumented illegal aliens. Because enrollment numbers have dropped since some aliens have been deported, the school districts are losing state funding. The Association and other supporters who are against deportation of criminal undocumented illegal aliens want more money, especially from wealthy residents, since deportations are emptying classrooms and squeezing school budgets. Politicians and school board members didn’t consider the impact as they established local school district budgets. They just went along with the state’s policy of accepting families and their children with open arms. Municipalities now faced with budgetary deficits include: Chelsea, Lynn, Everett, and Framingham.
