Orange is a town in Franklin County Massachusetts with a population of just under 8 thousand people. Orange was the District of Orange until being incorporated as a town in 1810. The Peace Statue which was erected in Memorial Park in 1934 to recognize World War I veterans was designated in 2000 as the official peace statue of Massachusetts.
